From September 13 to 19, 2025, The new community currently being established by the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God in Equatorial Guinea had the honor of welcoming the first official visit of Brother Pascal AHODEGNON, General Superior. This historic visit marks a decisive step in the process of consolidating the hospitaller mission in the Diocese of Mongomo and bears witness to the Order’s deep commitment to the values of compassion, service, and human dignity.

The General Superior was accompanied by Brother Parfait TCHAOU, First Councilor of the Saint Richard PAMPURI Province, and by Dr. Fernando RIVILLA, special delegate of the foundation mission in Equatorial Guinea, a great connoisseur of Africa and with a long history of working with the Order. Their joint presence strengthened the symbolic and operational significance of this visit, highlighting the strategic and spiritual importance of this new fraternity.
