
The joy of
celebrating the Solemn Profession of Br Isaan Ankamah and first celebration of
solemn Profession in Monrovia.
On the 15th
November 2025, Solemnity of the Virgin
Mary, Patroness of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God was celebrated
this year in our Monrovia Community with a lot of joy. On this solemn day, Br. Isaac Ankamah, a Ghanaian national in the
Community of Monrovia, Liberia, pronounced his solemn vows of Chastity,
poverty, obedience and hospitality at the Christ the King Parish in the
Archdiocese of Monrovia-Liberia. The solemn celebration was officiated by the
Metropolitan Archbishop of Monrovia Most. Rev. Dr. Gabriel Blamo Jubwe with the
the Provincial Superior of the Saint Augustine Province of Africa, Br. Paulinus Toh Kisam receiving the vows.
The colourful celebration was witnessed by the Catholic faiful of Monrovia
gathering Priet, religious men and women from different parts of Liberia and
especially Monrovia Archdiocesse not lay faiftfull and the hospitaller family
of Monrovia. Being the first celebration of its kind in Monrovia community
after more than 60 years of existence, we witnessed great joy and participation
of the Hospitaller family in Monrovia.faiftf aAlso present was the Provincial
council, two brothers from Ghana and a representation of the nearby Lunsar
community.
The ceremony
was a very colourful event and remarkable in the life of the Hospitaller Order
of Saint John of God as a whole.It was a joyful celebration.
