Today, 20 February, continuing along the path of the Provincial Chapter, the capitular members elected the new Councillors of the Province of Spain, thus completing the renewal process initiated in previous days.

The following were elected:

1. Brother Benigno Ramos Rodríguez

2. Brother José Antonio Soria Craus

3. Brother Juan José Ávila Ortega

4. Brother Isidoro Santiago Sánchez

5. Brother Eduardo Ribes Argente

Following the election of the Provincial Superior, which took place yesterday at the end of an intense process of communal discernment, the Chapter continues its work with a spirit of shared responsibility and openness to the signs of the times. The election of the Councillors represents a decisive moment in ensuring that the Province is guided by a collegial leadership capable of sustaining its journey of growth in fidelity to the charism of hospitality, always placing the person who is welcomed at the center.

It is hoped that the new Council will work in a spirit of dialogue, evangelical creativity, and continuity with what emerged during the previous days of the Chapter, helping to guide the future of the Province with deep roots in tradition and readiness to face the challenges of the present.
