In a fraternal atmosphere and sense of expectation that characterize
significant moments in the life of a Province, the 34th Chapter of the Polish
Province opens today, March 9. Religious brothers and coworker have gathered at
the “Vincentinum” Missionary Formation and Retreat Center in Krzeszowice.
Presiding over the Chapter is Brother Pascal Ahodegnon, General Superior
of the Order, accompanied by Brother Saji Mullankuzhy, General Councillor.
Their presence bears witness to the unity of the Order and to the special
attention given to the journey of the Polish Province, which in these days is
called to reread its path, recognize current challenges, and plan new ways of
service in fidelity to the charism of Hospitality, according to the style of
Saint John of God.
The Chapter represents a privileged time to listen to the Spirit, to
engage in sincere dialogue, and to renew the mission, in continuity with the
rich tradition of the Order and with a gaze turned toward the future. The work
will continue in the coming days with moments of prayer, synodal reflection,
and shared decisions that will guide the Province’s path in the years to come.
