During the course of today, Thursday, April 23, following the election of the Superior, the Councillors who will assist Brother Paulinus in the governance of the Province for the new term have been elected.

Those elected are:

First Councillor: Brother Peter Dao
Second Councillor: Brother André Sène
Third Councillor: Brother Linus Tango
Fourth Councillor: Brother Stanford Moor

The election of the Councillors represents a significant step in the capitular journey, as it helps to shape a governing team called to exercise its service in co-responsibility, in communal discernment, and in fidelity to the charism of Hospitality, in support of the Order’s mission in the African context.

The Order extends its congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected Provincial Councillors, that their service may be fruitful, lived in a spirit of fraternal communion and with particular attention to the most vulnerable, in accordance with the tradition of Saint John of God.
