A happy coincidence this year, as the Interprovincial Novitiate gives birth to 15 newly professed and welcomes 15 new novices.
The two ceremonies took place on 1 May 2026 in the novitiate chapel, Lomé - Togo.
At 6 AM, during lauds, 15 postulants entered the novitiate which marks a new step and foundation to their formation into religious life. They came from different African countries as follows: 1 Senegalese, 2 Liberians, 1 Sierra Leonean, 1 Mozambican, 4 Malagasy, 2 Ghanaians, 3 Malawians and 1 Zambian.
After the entrance to the novitiate, the temporary profession of 15 young brothers followed with a Mass with the participation of the Father General, Br. Pascal Ahodegnon, Br. Etienne Sène, General Councilor in charge of Africa, three Provincials, and many other brothers, novices, religious men and women, and the lay faithful.
