The 18th Course of Preparation for Solemn Profession has begun in Rome, at the General Curia. The course, taking place from September 7 to 27, 2026, brings together 24 young scholastic brothers from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, bearing witness to the universal and intercultural vocation of the Order.

The three-week formation program aims to prepare the brothers for their definitive commitment, bringing together the intellectual, spiritual, charismatic, and community dimensions of the Hospitaller life: from the study of the Order’s Constitutions to spiritual exercises, culminating in a pilgrimage following in the footsteps of Saint John of God in Granada, Spain.
