A new strategic phase for Hospitality Europe
greater agility and innovation to tackle social and health challenges

Hospitality Europe is embarking on a new phase of development with the aim of strengthening its capacity to respond to emerging social, socio-health and health challenges in Europe. The organisation’s renewal aims to make the network more agile, flexible and effective in promoting collaboration between European institutions committed to supporting the most vulnerable people.

In this new phase, Hospitality Europe aims to consolidate its role as a platform for cooperation between the provinces and the network’s member organisations, fostering the exchange of knowledge, the sharing of best practices and the development of joint European projects. The aim is also to strengthen dialogue with European institutions and contribute to the debate on social, health and inclusion policies.

These issues were also the focus of the Hospitality Europe General Assembly (GA) meeting, which took place on Friday 13 March. During the meeting, the actions planned for 2026 were presented. Participants also discussed strategic priorities for the coming years, including the drafting of position papers and the organisation of webinars on key topics such as human resources, mental health, an ageing population and the integration of health and social services.

The meeting also saw the presentation of a proposal to strengthen project implementation capacity, with the support of a network of innovation centres across different regions to promote innovative projects and facilitate access to European funding. Among the future initiatives, the upcoming European Congress on Social Inclusion was also confirmed; it will be held in Marseille on 30 September and 1 October and will bring together representatives from various European regions.

This new phase of Hospitality Europe therefore aims to strengthen cooperation between the network’s organisations and develop innovative responses to the emerging needs of European society.
