On June 24 at 6:00 p.m., a powerful 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck near
Caracas, causing severe damage to homes and buildings.
We have been in communication with the Provincial Superior, who reported
that the brothers and coworkers at the centers in Caracas and Maracaibo are
safe, although both the center and the community in Caracas sustained various
damages.
During the morning hours, local time, a technical assessment of the
building will be carried out to determine whether there has been any structural
damage.
We ask for your prayers for the people of Venezuela and will continue to
provide updates as soon as the technical evaluation reports for the buildings
in these two communities are received.
