General Commission for the Pastoral Care
The General Commission for the Pastoral Care of the Sick and Social Pastoral Care held its meeting to schedule on 9 and 10 November.
The members of the Commission came from various countries: Argentina, Austria, Spain, the United States of America, India, Italy, Mexico, Portugal and Togo, and so the meeting had to be held on the two afternoons, given the difficulties relating to the time zones.
Following the agenda, the group spoke about the pandemic in each Region, followed by reflection on the first chapter of the Encyclical of Pope Francis, Laudato Si.
Brother Thomas Osorio then shared a reflection on the Pastoral Care of People with Disabilities.
