The International Congress organised by the Bavarian Province to mark the 400th anniversary of the Hospitaller Order in Bavaria is beginning today, 1 June 2022, with a solemn Eucharist in the Regensburg Basilica. Over the next two days, speakers and participants from all over Europe will be exploring a wide range of questions on the theme 'Hospitality shaping the future'. Drawing on the Order's core values, they will address topics such as 'respect and integration', 'spirituality and science', 'quality and future technologies' and 'responsibility and courage' to name but a few. The programme also includes a whole series of fringe events, including a guided tour of the city, concerts, a dinner in the Biergarten and a visit to the Order's Hospital in Regensburg.
