Afagnan, Togo — August 2025

On Friday, August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Saint John of God Hospital in Afagnan was the setting for great ecclesial joy: the solemn profession of Brother Éric Nabila, a religious of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Very Reverend Father Pierre-Marie Chanel Affognon, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Lomé (Togo), in the presence of the Provincial Superior, Brother Hugues Assou, who received the vows on behalf of Father General.

During this liturgy, Brothers Cosme Hamahouzo and Dieu-donné Amedji raised their thanks to God for the twenty-five years of the Lord's faithfulness to them in religious life. They were surrounded by their families, relatives and friends, as well as collaborators from all the centers of the Province.
