The Superior General and his Council meet in Granada for the Enlarged Council, a significant meeting that marks the beginning of the new year. The choice of Granada is not accidental: it is here that the charismatic roots of the Order lie, in the city that preserves the living memory of Saint John of God.

In this symbolic place, the Council wishes to seek support and inspiration from the Founder to face the work of the year ahead with renewed energy and to prepare for the upcoming celebrations of the Provincial Chapters, key milestones in the path of discernment and renewal of the Order.

Granada thus becomes not only the heart of history but also the starting point for looking to the future with confidence and hope, in fidelity to the charism and in service to the most vulnerable.
