CREA normally meets once a year to assess action programmes being implemented in compliance with the guidelines laid down by the Provincial Chapters in the Africa Region and to transact issues of common concern to the whole Region.

The two Superiors (of the Province and Vice Province) updated each other on progress with the implementation of the Plan of Action laid down by their respective Chapters. CREA then met the officials of the Sub-Commissions to collect data on the various activities being performed. The Commission examined the state of the communities and centres at Lunsar and Monrovia and discussed the future of the centres in the wake of the Ebola epidemic. It was above all intended to strengthen the two communities and to remain vigilant regarding the post-Ebola situation which is considered a dangerous time because we might easily lower our guard thinking that the epidemic is under control.

Bro. Barthelemy and Bro. Boniface decided to help one another in order to strengthen the Monrovia (Liberia) and Lungi (Sierra Leone) communities as soon as possible.
